When cleansing, I feel that it is vital to start at the foundation, the digestive system.  If the colon is clogged, you will feel sluggish, bloated and lack energy, nutrients will also not enter the blood stream effectively and get to the cells to regenerate and nourish as they should.

There are a few simple things that you can do today to help your digestive system. Add a tablespoon of chia seeds to your smoothie or a glass of freshly squeezed juice or sprinkle them over your salad. Eat an organic pear or an apple, they are high in pectin and bursting with fiber – I feel it is best to avoid processed, store bought fruit juices as they are very high in fructose, we need the fiber with it!
