Marzipan Truffles

Method:

Mix all the ingredients together and knead until a dough forms

Refrigerate dough for 20 minutes

Roll into balls, dip in melted dark chocolate until well coated and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. 

Sprinkle with crushed pecan or pistachio nuts, finely toasted coconut or rose petals before the chocolate sets.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups ground almonds

2 Tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon maple syrup

3 Tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon coconut oil, melted

1 scoop AIM pea protein powder

Pinch of salt

1 teaspoon almond extract
